My Heart
For as long as I can remember, I have loved learning. School was a place where I felt energized by asking questions, discovering new ideas, and understanding how things worked. Mathematics, especially algebra, was one of my favorite subjects because I loved the challenge of identifying patterns, solving problems, and uncovering the logic behind complex concepts.
Looking back, I can now see that God was developing gifts that would one day become central to the work I do today. He uniquely wired me to be analytical, curious, and deeply committed to understanding why. Rather than accepting surface-level explanations, I've always been drawn to uncovering the underlying patterns and connections that others may overlook.
Although my educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, The Lord gradually led me toward a different calling. The analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills I developed throughout my education continue to shape the way I approach every child, adult, and family I have the privilege to serve.
Throughout my journey, I've come to realize that many of the challenges we see on the surface - whether they involve learning, attention, emotional regulation, anxiety, or everyday functioning - often have deeper roots in the brain and nervous system.
What began as a desire to better understand learning and development grew into a passion for neuroscience, cognitive development, and nervous system regulation. Today, I have the privilege of combining evidence-informed approaches with compassionate, individualized care to help children, adults, and families uncover those underlying foundations so they can move forward with greater confidence, connection, and hope.
I believe that understanding replaces fear. When people understand why they or their child are struggling, they are empowered to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope. It is a privilege to walk alongside families as they discover the incredible capacity for growth that God has designed within each of us.
